"In my mind, the best way to do an MBA is to come in already with an idea for a start-up or a new product, service, etc. Once you have these ideas in mind use it to pick classes, do extra reading, talking to professor and other students. And whether you follow up on the idea or not, it will be a central theme that will help pull things in perspective and order.
One more thing -- most of the classes at most of the schools are really very similar, so think about things like the environment, the openness, the social network that you will create, and of course the quality of the basketball team."
